How Microdermabrasion Can Work for You

We all wish things like acne scars, fine wrinkles and sunspots were 100% avoidable. The fact is they can happen. Fortunately there are remedies. In the effort to improve and eliminate these skin conditions, you should try microdermabrasion treatments.

How Does Microdermabrasion Work?

Microdermabrasion is the process of using light abrasion to partially or completely remove the stratum corneum, the dead outermost surface of the skin. It can be performed in day spas, doctors’ offices, or in the privacy of your own home

The Three Different Applications of Microdermabrasion

Crystal Microdermabrasion

Crystal Microdermabrasion systems are the traditional treatment of choice. Here a high speed flow of aluminum oxide microcrystals are blasted onto the surface of the skin by a special hand-held device. These microcrystals are what cause the exfoliation process. A separate part of this device simultaneously vacuums away dirt, dead cells, and used crystals. There are two advantages here. The irregular shape of the crystal is what makes it abrade so well, and its component of aluminum oxide is the second hardest mineral after diamonds.

Diamond Microdermabrasion

Diamond microdermabrasion uses a disposable or diamond tipped wand to abrade the outermost layer of the skin. The advantage for this method is it takes out the possibility of free flying crystals inadvertently hitting and damaging sensitive areas of the face. The tipped wand has a better rate of precision because it is made in different shapes and sizes. The downside for both these methods is a minimum of 6 to 12 application sessions that have to be conducted at a medical clinic or a day spa. These appointments last up to an hour and the price tag can reach up to a thousand dollars. Luckily there exists a more cost effective microdermabrasion treatment.

At Home Microdermabrasion

Skin resurfacing products have a new development in that now exists a microdermabrasion cream that can be used from home. In particular if the cream is made of all natural ingredients, it can produce long lasting results on top of being easy to apply. A microdermabrasion cream abrades the surface of the skin using tiny particles to leave a ‘polished’ look to your face after its application. After repeated use a discolored or scarred skin surface is gradually removed. The microdermabrasion results are twofold. The surface skin cell turnover is enhanced and it causes the self replenishment of collagen and elastin to replace the older and drier layer of the skin.

A microdermabrasion skin cream called BIOSKINEXFOL has all natural biological skin regenerating activators that further stimulate new skin cells to replace the old and damaged ones. Its special ingredient is snail serum (Helix Aspersa Muller). Its properties and molecular structures that are very similar to human skin allow its regenerating effects to be replicated on us. If you want your microdermabrasion cream to both eliminate the top damaged layer of the skin and regenerate healthy skin cells, BIOSKINEXFOL is the perfect treatment for you.
