Accessories Make Or Break An Outfit
The accessories you chose are extremely important and should compliment, not over power, your outfit. The correct accessories can turn a boring ensemble into a smashing success. However, the wrong accessories can turn any outfit into a complete disaster. When accessorizing, be careful choose purses, jewelry and shoes that are stylish, up to the minute and in step with the latest trends. This will ensure your outfit is fashionable and will be envied wherever you go.
The plus size girls of today have finally made it clear that they a) will not purchase ensembles that do not flatter them, plus b) they control a very large part of the consumer buying power, and c) that plus size girls prefer to (and do) look BEAUTIFUL! Gone are the days of the ugly tent-like ensembles! Many designers now realize this, and are adding pieces that are flattering for the woman of size.
Purses have a way of either setting your look into motion - or setting it off. A tiny purse and a plus size girl are not a very good combination. Dinky little purses have a way of making their carrier appear larger. Not a good look. You don’t need a beach bag that you could fit a body in either, though. Just find a nice bag that is a good size for you and fits your style. One nice purse that is somewhat neutral and something snazzier for evening is pretty much all that you need. However, you can have several different bags for different moods or outfits; just watch the size of the bag.
A large woman needs large pieces of jewelry to balance her look. Large women can wear pearls if they knot the strand and wear a string of pearls that are longer. The look is still very chic, but it works with the plus size girl. Also, bangle bracelets and heavy pieces look good on larger women. It is possible for plus size women to wear small, dainty pieces of jewelry. However, they must be paired with chunky, larger pieces. The proportion has to be equal.
Larger size women can still look fabulous by matching their outfits with adorable shoes. Even if a woman has a wide foot, she can still wear some trendy looks. A classic style is the espadrille. It’s a fun and youthful style that looks good on almost every person. Plus size women shouldn’t be afraid to wear heels. If you are uneasy about wearing three inch heels, start with a shorter style. Be careful when searching for bargains. Cheap shoes will show wear. If you want to look trendy, then you have to pay for the look you want. Be daring and pay a little extra for higher quality. Choose styles and colors that will match your outfits, and you’re ready to go.
